Code of Conduct
Code of Conduct
The Open Science Fair and Open Science community is made up of members from around the globe with a diverse set of skills, personalities, and experiences. It is through these differences that our community experiences great successes and continued growth. When you're working with members of the community, this Code of Conduct will help steer your interactions and keep OSFair2025 a positive, successful, and growing community.
We expect all attendees, speakers, partners and all the members from the organising committee to adhere to the CERN Code of Conduct as well as to the OSFAIR Code of Conduct throughout the entire event:
OSFAIR is devoted to ensure a safe and open environment for everyone, regardless of sex, race, colour, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation.
OSFAIR will have zero tolerance for harassment of participants and no form of harassment is appropriate during any aspect of this conference, including talks, workshops, chats and Q&A windows, Social Media platforms or any other online media.
Following this Code of Conduct will give OSFAIR the capacity to provide all attendees the best experience possible. OSFAIR will endeavour a welcoming space during all the event and sessions that will occur and, if somehow someone feels unsafe in any how, or even spot something unusual, or have any concerns related to the event, please let know the Organising Committee by sending an email to
The emails will be accessed by the organising team on the side of OpenAIRE and the CERN Open Science Office, repsectively. You can also approach the conference chairs Kamran Naim (CERN) or Inge van Nieuwerburgh (University Library Ghent) directly. They will suggest ways of redressing the matter and counsel the parties involved. They may, after due consideration, take action as they deem appropriate, including, in severe cases, expulsion from the conference.
