Participants requiring a visa to enter Switzerland are strongly advised to begin the application process well in advance of their planned travel.

Switzerland is part of the Schengen Area. If you need a visa, you will need to apply for a short-stay Schengen visa (Type C), which allows travel for up to 90 days within a 180-day period.
