GERGELY SIPOS works as Customer and Technical Outreach Manager at the EGI Foundation, provider of the largest, publicly funded e-infrastructure of the World. He coordinates EGI’s engagement with scientific user communities and with the national e-infrastructures supporting them in tackling big data and compute challenges. Gergely’s responsibilities include outreach and engagement; requirement collection and analysis; software specification, development and testing; training; user support and customer feedback analysis. A key focus is deepening partnership with European Research Infrastructures and institutes from the ESFRI roadmap. Gergely holds PhD in computer science from the University of Miskolc, Hungary.
